Returns & Refunds Policy

Introduction
At Amorphous Studio, we take pride in the quality of our products and services.
This Returns & Refunds Policy outlines your rights and our obligations in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, and we’re committed to handling all returns and exchanges fairly and promptly.
Australian Consumer Law
Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund when a product:

Has a major fault or defect;

Is not as described; or
-
Fails to be of acceptable quality.
This applies regardless of our store policy. However, please note that change-of-mind returns for custom or printed items are not permitted unless required by law.
Eligibility for Returns
We categorise returns into two types:
1. Custom or Decorated Items
Custom-printed, embroidered, or otherwise decorated products are made specifically to your order and design specifications.
As such, these items cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged unless they are:

Faulty,
-
Damaged in transit, or
-
Incorrect due to an error on our part.
Please review all proofs, designs, and order details carefully before approving production.
2. Custom or Decorated Items
Undecorated (blank) items may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they are:

Unworn, unused, and in original packaging; and
-
Accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt or order number).
A $10 restocking fee applies per order, and all return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
Return Process
To request a return or refund:

Contact us at contact@amorphous.au within 14 days of receiving your order.

Include your order number, item description, and a brief explanation of the issue.

We may request photos to verify faults or damages before approving a return.

Once approved, we will provide return instructions.
Please do not return items without prior authorisation, as they may not be accepted.
Refunds
Refunds (where applicable) will be processed via the original payment method once the returned item has been received and inspected.
Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.
Refunds will not include:

Shipping costs paid at checkout, or
-
Return shipping expenses.
Exchanges
We may offer an exchange for eligible undecorated items, subject to stock availability.
If the desired replacement is unavailable, a refund (less restocking fee) may be issued instead.
Customers are responsible for shipping both ways for exchanges.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect product, please contact us immediately at contact@amorphous.au with photos and your order details.
We will:

Assess the issue in line with Australian Consumer Law;

Provide a replacement, repair, or refund if appropriate; and
-
Cover return shipping costs if the fault is confirmed to be ours.
Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns or refunds for:

Custom printed or embroidered products (unless faulty)
-
Gift cards or vouchers
-
Digital or design services (once work has begun)
-
Sale or clearance items (unless faulty)
Shipping Responsibility
Customers are responsible for all shipping and handling fees for change-of-mind or incorrect-size returns.
We recommend using a tracked postage service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of untracked parcels.
Amorphous Studio is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit when returned by the customer.
